Package Design

In November, I had the privilege of helping Douglas Dollars with his very first Royal Bison show. This was also the first time his small batch, handmade State Motto cocktail bitters were for sale to the public. Being someone as busy as Doug is, and with Royal Bison requiring as much prep work as it does, there wasn’t much time to get everything polished to the level of detail Doug normally expects of himself. He put together some temporary marketing material with the intention of revisiting the design before the next show. This week, we put the finishing touches of the new labels for State Motto’s cocktail bitters. The design is clean and simple, with some of the cute copywriting details that one can expect from anything that Doug has his hand in. I think State Motto fans, both current and future, are going to be fans of the new look.

State Motto products with the new labels will be at the Fall Royal Bison show and can also be purchased online anytime here.

Both print and digital magazine, billboard, and signage ads for various clients.

As an exercise, Laura Lynn has endeavoured to create daily collages to explore new design techniques, practice hand kearning, and put share something beautiful with friends and followers. These are a sampling of some of her personal favourites.

Illustrations can be done in vector, raster, collage (photographic or material), Lego, watercolour, acrylic, pen/ink, pencil, charcoal, woodcut, or mixed medium.
