New Package Design for State Motto

In November, I had the privilege of helping Douglas Dollars (Stewart) with his very first Royal Bison show. This was also the first time his small batch, handmade State Motto cocktail bitters were for sale to the public.

Being someone as busy as Doug is, and with Royal Bison requiring as much prep work as it does, there wasn’t much time to get everything polished to the level of detail Doug normally expects of himself. He put together some temporary marketing material with the intention of revisiting the design before the next show. This week, we put the finishing touches of the new labels for State Motto’s cocktail bitters. The design is clean and simple, with some of the cute copywriting details that one can expect from anything that Doug has his hand in. I think State Motto fans, both current and future, are going to be fans of the new look.

In addition to a new batch of Sate Motto’s classic Earl Grey bitters, Doug is introducing two brand new flavour’s at Royal Bison’s Spring show: Wormwood and Bitter Orange. Drop by the show May 8-10 at 8426 Gateway Blvd. to pick some up and check out the new package design. State Motto products can also be purchased online anytime here.
